花蓮，作為時間地理交會之處，是傳說故事開始的地方，是神性人性交融的縣市。 數百萬年來，在歐亞板塊與菲律賓海板塊的相互碰撞之下中， 花蓮的地貌承擔了那份原始凜冽的撼動力，也留下了人文歲月所雕琢的溫柔，過去如此，未來依舊。 在這塊傳奇的地土上，萬物皆有靈。人們出門前跟山靈擁抱，與海神言語，女孩聽得見石頭的歌聲，少年願意留下來為了陪一顆石頭說話。 在古老大地的能量流轉之間，在無窮無盡的山海之間，人們不斷地來到花蓮，支取大地的靈感，來得到命定的啟發。 將這份初始的感動轉化在這次的展覽之中，邀請觀眾一同化身為「據說考古隊」的成員，在口耳相傳的傳說與軼事壁畫之間穿梭，感受來自大地核心的隱隱聲響，揀擇一顆能共語的石頭，考據紋理中所夾藏的故事，尋得那份來自遠古的牽絆。伴隨著不斷向上的大地，與地底人同探索，與天上人同仰望，帶著共同寫下的新篇章，回到花蓮這座城市，回到靈魂綻放的初始之地。

Hualien, a place where time and geography unite, legends begin, and divinity and humanity interweave. With the collision between the Eurasian Plate and the Philippine Sea Plate for millions of years, Hualien’s landform has undertaken the primitive touching power and retained the gentleness carved through years of humanities. The past has been doing so; yet, the future will remain the same. On this legendary land, people believe in animism. Here, people hug the mountain spirit before leaving their home, whisper with the God of Sea; girls hear the singing from the rocks, and boys are willing to stay and chat with the stones. While energy flows in the ancient land, people continuously visit Hualien and obtain enlightenment from the ground, gaining the destined inspiration among the vast mountains and the sea. By transferring the initial touching sensation into this exhibition, we invite visitors to become a member of our legend archaeology team who wanders between legends and anecdotes, experiencing the faint sound deeply underneath at the core of the earth. Picking a narrative stone to examine the texture and study the hidden stories, we could explore the ancient connection in between. Following the upward land, exploring with the fellows on the ground, and looking up to the sky with the celestial being, participants will write down and bring back new chapters to Hualien, to the original place where souls flourish.
